An opportunity has arisen for the role of Transport Planner at the Holmes Chapel site. The successful applicant will work closely with the Logistics Manager to support the efficient and safe operation of the delivery functions.
You will be acting as the first point of contact for our driver team and sales team. There will be a requirement to solve problems, balancing our customer priorities with maintenance schedules of the fleet and availability of personnel. Regular and effective communications with other areas of the business is essential.
You should have good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as an ability to work well under pressure. Exceptional time management and organisational skills will be key to your success, as you will often be balancing several priorities at the same time while working to tight deadlines.
